Terms of Service

Xylo provides AI-generated supportive conversation, general information and practical organization. It is designed to feel attentive and useful, but it is not a human therapist, licensed clinician, healthcare provider, diagnostic service, crisis line or emergency service. No professional, fiduciary or doctor–patient relationship is created. The Depression Test is a self-screening aid and cannot establish or rule out a diagnosis.

Do not rely on Xylo for an emergency, medical decision, diagnosis, treatment plan or decision that could cause serious harm. AI responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate or unexpectedly unavailable. If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted person who can be physically present. You remain responsible for decisions made after using the service.

You must have legal capacity to accept these terms. If local law requires parent or guardian consent, you may use Xylo only with that consent. You must use the service lawfully and follow the Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Xylo.

You retain rights you hold in messages you submit. You grant Xylora Studios and its providers the rights needed to host, transmit, analyze, moderate, review, reproduce and transform that content to operate, secure, evaluate and improve Xylo as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission lasts only as needed for those purposes and applicable retention. Do not submit another person's confidential information or content you have no right to provide.

Responses are generated automatically and may resemble content produced for others. Xylora Studios does not promise that output is unique, accurate, suitable for a particular purpose or free of third-party rights. You may use output for personal, lawful purposes, but you must independently check information before relying on it.

Xylo's software, interface, artwork, branding and original materials belong to Xylora Studios or its licensors. These terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service. You may not sell access, copy protected parts, reverse engineer, evade safeguards or commercially exploit the service except where law expressly permits.

Donations are voluntary, do not purchase therapy or preferential access, and may be processed by a third-party payment provider. Before donating, you must accept the applicable terms and privacy notice and acknowledge that donations are non-refundable except where law requires otherwise. You are responsible for entering accurate payment and receipt information. Taxes and any eligibility for relief depend on your circumstances.

We may update, limit, suspend or discontinue any feature; block abusive traffic; preserve evidence of misuse; or restrict access where reasonably necessary for safety, security, law or service integrity. We do not promise uninterrupted, timely or error-free availability, transcript delivery or preservation.

Xylo is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Xylora Studios disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, lost opportunity, lost data or reliance on AI output. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right that law does not allow us to exclude.

Where law permits, you are responsible for losses and claims caused by your unlawful misuse of Xylo or violation of another person's rights. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

Applicable law and courts are determined by Xylora Studios' legal establishment and mandatory protections available where you live. We may revise these terms; material changes will be identified with a new effective date. Use the contact page for legal questions.
